Ryan & Kassy | A Hamilton/Hico Engagement Session | Hamilton, Texas

I am so excited to share photos from this beautiful Hamilton/Hico engagement session, and I am beyond ready for their Five Oaks Farm wedding in the fall! This Hamilton and Hico, Texas engagement session is to die for. I had such a hard time narrowing down these gorgeous photos! These two dipped their toes in a creek bed, walked barefoot down a dirt road and dance in a meadow at sunset. It was like the perfect Texas engagement, y’all.

A little about the couple

Ryan and Kassy met through his dad and her grandparents. Their folks knew each other, and owned land in the same area. One year Kassy’s grandma invited Ryan to spend Christmas with them and introduced the two. Kassy and Ryan talked every day since! Ryan and Kassy have been together over two years, and are making it official later this year! They enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, and trying new foods.

How did he pop the question?

‘We visited Iceland in December of 2019 and had hiked to the Godafoss Waterfall to see the Northern Lights. We were talking about being together and Ryan asked me, “Do you really think you could see us together forever?” I responded with a nonchalant, “I could babe.” And then out of the blue he got down on one knee and said, “Well babe, will you marry me?” I was so shocked and once I could catch my breath I excitedly said, “Yes!” Then we had champagne under the Northern Lights!’

That is so romantic! These two clearly have a sense for adventure. I can’t wait to blog photos of their upcoming rustic, elegant wedding. Stay tuned!
