Zach & Rachel | A Dove Ridge Vineyard Wedding | Weatherford, TX

It’s finally spring, y’all and I am so ready to post all the blogs! I had a blast at this beautiful vineyard wedding. Give me pretty wedding details, a scenic view, wine and a charcuterie board and I am smitten! Zach and Rachel are absolutely smitten as their vision for the special day came to reality! Here’s a little about them.

How did you meet?

“Zach and I know each other from high high-school. We were friends and had several mutual acquaintances but never dated. We went our separate ways after high-school, but in 2016 he reached out to me for a coffee date turned lunch date, but didn’t want to commit to dinner date yet! We’ve been together ever since. He always says “good morning beautiful” to me. We love to go to happy hours at The Keg, watch one of our many Netflix series we have going, hang out with our friends and drink wine!

How did he pop the question?

“Zach planned a special dinner at one of our favorite steakhouses. He reserved a table by the fireplace. I thought we were meeting another couple there for a double date when he told me they had to cancel last minute. After dinner, he had the waiter set a tray in front of me with a coffee mug that read “Hello Beautiful” on it (just like he always says to me)! There were rose petals all over the tray. In the coffee mug he had a card that read “to the best cup of coffee” and on the back it said “let’s make it forever, love, Zach.” The coffee mug and note is because our first time we got together was at a Starbucks for coffee. After dinner we walked around together and got down on one knee and asked me!
