Luke was birthed at Origins Birth and Wellness Collective in Keller, Texas and ON his projected due date.
Can you believe it? I sure can’t.
I got the call about 3:30 that am, and got dresses super fast to run out the door. His parents had arrived only minutes before me, and upon being checked Elizabeth was told she was 100% everything and ready to roll. That she would just let her body do what it needed to do and then we would have a baby. Well two hours and one minutes later, Luke arrived. Momma labored on the bed, in the tub, on the side of the bed, back on the bed; and that is where he finally made his appearance. Daddy, Aron, handed Luke off to momma; and it was the proudest handoff. Aron wins husband of the year for how supportive and in tune he was with Elizabeth during the whole process. They truly made the most perfect Origins Natural Birth Video! I can not wait to get the photos live for you to see those as well. Till then, help me with giving this new mommy and daddy a warm CONGRATS on their new bundle and wishing them all the warm snuggly vibes as they start this new season in their lives.

[…] Luke’s birth was beautiful! I got the call at 4:30am to head to the Origins Birth & Wellness Collective Center. By the time we arrived, Elizabeth was already dilated to a 10. After laboring on the bed, floor and the tub, she finally gave birth to Luke Richard back on the bed. Elizabeth’s sweet hubby Aron stayed by her side the entire time, giving her sweet kisses and words of encouragement. Midwife Roxanne and midwife Bliss (who is also Luke’s grandmother) supported Elizabeth all along while Aron’s mom stood back interceding with prayer.
