I had so much fun with Jacob and Lori at their Dallas Arboretum engagement session; during their great pumpkin adventure. It was the perfect fall day, with the perfect couple. Their I Do’s will happen in just a little over a month, and I can not wait to see Lori’s vision come to life in her dress, their flowers (which she has told me will be light airy and lots of greenery), the decor and just everything. I love seeing a couple personality shine in their wedding details.
They met in college at a coffee shop in Nacogdoches. They started dating shortly after, and have literally been inseparable. After Jacob graduatied college they began a long term relationship, all the way from East Texas to Vernon. Lori moved to Dallas after undergrad to start her masters at UTD, and soon after Jacob moved back to Dallas to be closer to her. I mean how could be away from her much more, IN love is an understatement for these two. I can see their love shine everything I see them. Jacob said he knew with two months of dating Lori that she was THE one. Lori said it took a little longer for her, but after she knew – SHE KNEW.
From Lori – ‘We went to Granbury for a day of looking through an old town and getting away from the crowd. We were in the back of one of the stores in the town and I came around a corner after him and he was on one knee and asked me the question, lol. We then stuffed our faces with Babes chicken.’
One of their favorite things to do together is venture to different antique malls and shops around town, so to propose in an store in Granbury with such rich history and lots of beautiful antiques around is so meaningful and special.
Stay tuned for their wedding sneaks, and blog soon after their big day.
